MY  SERVICE  HISTORY
My name is Frank Reeve, I was born on 13.10.1920. I
was a V.R; (Volunteer Reserve) in the Royal Air Force
in the last war and served on both Ground Staff and
Air-crew with No-5 Group of Bomber Command. I was inducted at Cardington on 16.4.1940; then to Morecambe for basic training after which I served at many Units, all of which I have listed for the pleasure  of interested friends. Each and every one has its own and often unbelievable story to tell.


Late 1940s posted to R.A.F, FILTON,
Home of the Bristol Air-craft factory.

Early 1941 posted to R.A.F; HAVERIGG.
One of the earliest Navigator Training Schools.

Winter 1941-42 posted to R.A.F; HUCKNALL.
This was a training unit for Polish fighter Pilots.

August 1942 posted to St ATHANS.
Training for Air-crew duties.

9.12.42 posted to R.A.F;WIGSLEY.
1654 Conversion Unit.
