| The priviledge of the young is being rebelious, it's almost expected of you...but if you have all you want and parents that let you do what ever you like, what can you do??? I decided to get dreadlocks!! hmmm....might have gone a bit far, but hey. You've got to try everything atleast once, right? Besides, hair grows back, and you can laugh at it afterwards....everyone else sure does!! hehehe | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This page is for the more thorough and persistant visitors of this site, hehe. The things here are good examples of things iv'e done and places iv'e seen and especially (if you're planning on doing anything similar) of how not to do them. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In Egypt i learned true fear! You know they want women to wear vails over their hair when entering a mosk (most of the mosks anyway), and this of course you respect. But if you, like me, are the last in line to enter the mosk and are wearing baggy clothes that make you look like a boy, you might not be handed one. I didn't dare to ask for one tho...went in with the others (to note, this was one of the more religieus and important mosks in Cairo). I barely remember anything from that maosk, not even the name, since i was to occupied with not being identefied as a fraud. At the time i was sure a lot of horrible things would happen to me if i was found out, hehehehe....very educational expirience. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ireland is one of the most beautifull countries in Europe. It also has a lot of sheep, in fact i'm not sure there aren't more sheep there than people....Anyway. Most places they just roam around peacefully along side roads, or the more brave take a little nap on the middle of the road it self. See, there is no reason for fences, since all of the sheep are spray painted in different colours. Yeah, some of them have 4 different colours on them...punk sheep. My point with the sheep story is this. I was there with my father once, driving around the country side, when we saw some of these punk sheep by the side of the road. Of course i wanted a photo of it. took my camera out opened the window (not stepping out, as to not scare them away) and getting ready to click away. But then my intented sheep moves 1 meter to the left...and here is the mistake i have regretted making ever since...i asked my father to back 1 meter so that i could take a good picture. I have been reminded of this stupid request nearly everyday ever since.... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| One thing i abselutly advise you NOT to do, is to talk a nice little early morning stroll along the beach....in mid december! Don't get me wrong! I love the beach, and i love snow, but the two things just don't mix...And if you have a lovely mother who only cares about the good health of her kids (us), and will therefore force them on a long walk to the beach, bringing the dogs, you will soon appreciate my point. It is not only cold and wet, there is also no point of going there in mid winter, especially not the day before Christmas. Any other family would be sitting home snuggling in front of the fire while we have a great time picking up whats left of our frozen off fingers. |

| For those of you who don't recognize this lake, it's Loch Ness. And yes it's me (believe it or not) in the water. Damned colled too!! We (my friend and I) were apparently the first ones to ever have swam in the Loch from that part of it (so we were told by the owners of the site), how cool is that?! And here comes the traditional "what-is-that-in-the-background" question...notice i have circled it with red. I only noticed it after the photo was developed........... UUUHHHHH.....naah, the truth is more likely to be bird or something, but a cool picture to have none the less! But i will from now on never again get out of a lake with my back to it...hehehe | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In Florida they tell you it is absolutly forbidden to feed the wild animals. There are several reasons for this: 1) they don't want the animals to get domesticated. 2) They don't want the animals to die of food poisening. 3) It disturbs their natural instinct of finding their own food (this is connected to point one). But the funny thing is, it is absolutly ok for the park rangers to feed marshmellows to the raccoons....Appare,tly they like them a lot. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Frisco is very nice, i like the steep streets a lot. The most amazing thing about Frisco is (in my opninion) Alcatraz! If you have the chance of ever going there, you sure should! I mean how often do you get to see a prison from the inside unless you got cought doing some dodgy stuff. And even better, there are oppertuneties aplenty to get rid og one family member too many...(sorry Jo, you lnow i didn't mean anything by it, eh.) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
