Weapons :
Xistaren X-23 Assault Rifle - High powered and deadly, this rifle with extendable barrel and tripod for sniper operations fires a highly charged plasma burst through a two-inch diameter large bore muzzle. The weapon's energy useage is relatively low power, instead relying on ionized energy shells to provide the fuel for the plasma conversion. Because the contents of the shells are already half-way to peak conversion, the rifle's plasma generator can charge the contents of the shells with more deadly power than a normal plasma cannon, effectively firing charged plasma blasts that are almost twice as powerful as that of a reploid's plasma cannon. The recharge cycle for the plasma generator is three seconds. Each clip holds twenty rounds.
Conglom Pulse Pistol - This is the weapon of choice for mercenaries wanting short range fire power with the punch of a rifle. The weapon fires highly charged ion pulses that hit with the full force of an infantry rifle. If set to low power, the weapon will destroy electronic devices or stun biological or reploid captives. The weapon is fueled by charge cells. Each cell has enough power for ten regular blasts and twenty disabling blasts.
Syndic-Tech Plasma Thrower - This weapon, designed by the infamous Syndic-Tech weapons firm, has been outlawed in many countries. Capable of firing a stream of plasmatic gas, anything caught in this weapons firing arc is put out of commission quickly. This weapon acts as a regular gauntlet mounted flame thrower except that the results are infinitely more horrible than any other flame weapon. There is enough fuel in the tank for up to twelve ten second bursts.
Typhoid Armor Systems Grenade Launcher - This is a shoulder mounted grenade launcher that works well with the Typhoid Armor Systems Jetpack and most suits of Typhoid Armor Systems shock armor. The launcher is modular in design and fits into the weapons slot of the jetpack. When activated, the launch tube extends over the right shoulder and can rotate 45 degrees in any direction. The launcher has a magazine of three grenades. Tarkan Moncur keeps an additional six grenades on his person increasing his firepower significantly.

Speacial Abilities / Accessories :
Typhoid Armor Systems Jetpack - This is the stock jetpack sold with the TAS shock suit. It provides for full system intergration and voice activation if the helmet is outfitted with the proper software. Tarkan Moncur's system has both the standard gauntlet activation and voice activation. The jetpack has enough fuel for twenty 3 second bursts. Each three second burst can move Moncur 100 meters horizontally or 70 meters vertically. Top speed is 145 kph.
Typhoid Armor Systems Scomp Link - Scope like sensors on weapons allow for visual representation in Moncur's helmet of where the weapon is pointing. He does not have to look in the direction of the enemy to target, merely point the weapon and he can see what the weapon could theoretically see. Can be used in conjunction with helmet's visual enhancers to provide an almost scope like ability.

Personality -
Tarkan has many qualities of a loner. He does not speak much, preferring to think instead and does not enjoy the sound of his own voice, which comes filtered through the helmet. He has developed a few mental complexes that come with his line of work. He is paranoid, trusting very few people, and that trust is earned only after years of work. He is not apt to betray any emotion in his voice, if you can get him to speak. If someone annoys him, he will ignore them until they become a threat. If threatened, Moncur will bring the full brunt of his considerable personal arsenal to bear on said offender. Moncur hardly ever harbors a grudge of any kind. What he does is a job and he thinks of it as such. Unfortunately, the job is all Tarkan Moncur has and he takes his job seriously.

History -
Few details are known about Tarkan Moncur. What records there were about his birth and life have since been destroyed making this man a walking enigma. It is not known how old Tarkan is or where he is from, only that he is a mercenary wearing the armor of the hired shocktroopers that the uber-being Nemesis used to invade the SG. To Moncur, the assignment was just another contract... one of which he wasn't paid for. As payment, he decided to keep the armor and weapons that Nemesis had provided for him. Many of the others who survived the SG mission did the same, although very few came out with as complete a set of Typhoid shock armor as Moncur did. The details as to what Moncur did at the SG are sketchy at best, and the armored mercenary is as apt to tell about past assignments as he would to sing an opera. After the SG, Moncur and a group of SG survivors took a group assignment hunting down a drug dealer in Venezuela. There, the dealer struck a deal with South American guerilla's and had them attack the small band of mercenaries. Moncur is the only known survivor.
