When the Freelance Reploids destroyed the time-bending device known as The Demiurge, one of their own members was caught inside of it. Nagoshi was transformed from age 20 back to age 8 instantly. With no memory of the past 12 years, the human returned to his original name, Flux, and was collectively adopted by the Freelance Reploids.
Flux is a very curious kid, surprisingly mature for his age, and tolerant to the lifestyle of the mercenaries.
