Disadvantages :

Hatred (for his creators)
Weapons :
Buster Arm - Standard equipment. The Aibatz Corporation made some headway in regards to weapons, and has since created a smaller, more compact
buster arm. The weapon is embedded within the palm of the hand rather than the cumbersome transform-to-gun-mode type.
Buster Sword - He doesnt use it much, but even a sniper needs some form of close range defense should the situation ever present itself. The buster
sword doesnt work like the beam saber in a sense that it comes from the Buster Gun rather than an independent source (like Zeros Z Saber).
Multi-Range Assault Weapon ("Pero Pero") - Pero Pero was built especially for Arins model. The gun integrates to the unique arm buster setup (as
mentioned above). Without any of the special rounds below, the gun is capable of taking the energy of the arm buster and working it one of two ways.
It can either charge the shot (to something of a high powered rifle), or increase the firing rate (more like a machine gun). If anything, a sniper must be
capable of moving efficiently to take position. Pero Pero is a bit large to be lugging around from location to location, so its collapsable. The weapons
splits apart into three separate components, the key component being the buster gun (which can be used independently of the guns other components.
It can also function with only one of the two components attached). One is a long range component with a chamber that accepts shell rounds. The
energy of the buster gun is used to magnetically launch a round from this component. The other part is a 250 x magnifying scope/ arm stock. Both
components fit on Arins back, allowing him to move without the rifle slowing him down.
Wide-Range Shrapnel Round - For short to medium range combat only. This explodes on impact, scattering a wide field of debris outward at high
speeds.
Lightning Strike Round - Useful at any range. Best all-around for the shell types. During its time between launching and impact, the round generates an
electric charge that is released upon contact with its target. The longer the bullet spends in travel, the more electricity it generates.
Thermal Rail Gun Round - Most damaging round of the three, for long range combat only. Large plastic round fired at high velocities to generate friction
against and around the bullet. The heat generated from the friction melts whatever it comes within contact with. Said to be able to melt through the
armor of a tank. Because of the force needed to launch the round, a substantially powerful recoil is the side affect. The dispersion of the round also puts
a strain on Pero Pero, so a cool down period of forty-five seconds is required between sequential rail gunshots.
Special Abilities -
Multi-vision Target Lock A.I. ("Locke") - Locke is a special artificial intelligence that works independently of its host. Locke is integrated into the visual
receptors of Arin, and also linked to his central processor. Whatever Arin sees, Locke sees it as well. If necessary, Locke can alter Arins vision to
allow him to see what most other reploids and humans cannot. Aside from the standard visual type given to reploids, Locke allows Arin to see his
quarry in infrared or x-ray vision. Locke also has an advanced calculating program that would normally allow to the user to detect a moving object, plot
its speed and approach vector, and properly calculate where to shoot to hit the quarry. There are two downsides though. The first downside being that
this part of Locke is only accessible to a target beyond the range of 1.25 miles. The second downside is that Arin installed Locke without the
knowledge of how effective Locke was. The system was still in development when Arin had liberated it from Aibatz and installed it into himself. When
the program is operational, Locke only has a 30 to 50 percent probability of being right in its calculations, and thats weather permitting. Conditions like
rain and winds bring its accuracy down to a measly 15 to 25 percent. Because of this, Arin is often forced to rely on his own instincts and hope hes hit
what hes needed to.
Appearance -
Height: 5 8"
Hair: Blue-Green, medium length (to the neck), slightly scraggly
Eye Color: Lavender
Build: Lanky for the most part. Arms are a bit more developed
Armor: Pine Green under suit with Black armor
Personality -
Arin is often mulling over the purpose of his existence. This mulling has caused a brooding hatred for his co-creators, and has spawned a
sub-routine that drives Arin to smoke. Normally Arin doesnt say something until someone else starts up the conversation. If you dont mind the smoke,
hes a nice person to talk with. If you can get in deep enough, hes even quite the joker. As for his personality in a mission: Hes determined. He
wants to see the mission through, and will take great risks to do it. Hes cool with you so long as you dont get in his line of fire.
History -
Originally the prototype for a new type of dependent sniper reploid for the Aibatz Co., Arin's creator would re-program the reploid
secretly to prevent a new breed of killing machine to be unleashed. After killing his first target (which sadly, was his creator), Arin became self-aware
and developed his own personality. Finding the project a failure, the Aibatz Co. terminated the project, and ordered all evidence be destroyed. Arin
would break free and escape Aibatz, stealing their two newest pieces of equipment: The multi-range assualt weapon (which he named Pero Pero) and
the experimental targeting computer "Locke". Arin would go freelance, ready and willing to take any job that would give him a chance kick the crap out
of Aibatz.
