             Kevin Mattson, also known as Violent K, learned to play drums when he was 6 years old by beating on every kid in the neighbourhood in his home town of Chester, Nova Scotia.  He lets out all his fury beating on the drums.  Kevin enjoys hot chocolate by day and Pepsi-Cola by night.  He has been known to be a day tripper but prefers toking in moonlight. 

             Kevin has been seen wearing an assortment  hats. Hats include "IGA", a hat with a choo-choo train, and of course his Colorado hat.
