Daniel Wendt, also known as "The Kowboy", lives in a small shack in Chester Basin. He learned to play guitar by learning. His first guitar was a shoebox and some rubber bands. It didn't work. He enjoys playing with 40 Ounce Fury because it gives him a sense of enlightenment. He wouldn't be able to play without greats like Jimi Hendrix, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Jimmy Buffet. Daniel used to steal road signs but does not find it amusing any more. Now he takes all his energy from finding and taking road signs and puts it into the music that the band makes. He has been seen sporting several interesting hats. These hats include: the red cowboy hat, "How's Your Performance?", "Adam's Bar Mitzvah", and a "Drivers Wanted" hat.
