I nod, and throw out a what I hope is a confident smile, but my nerves aren�t making me feel all that comfortable. Jess doesn�t catch it, thank the spirits. She�s off in her own world, contemplating some revenge that will likely be worse than me mauling Rob within an inch of his life. Can�t say I�m sorry for him. Which leads me back to my original problem.
Even without this ex-boyfriend mess to complicate things, I�m not sure why Maxis would want to go for me. Britani seems closer to what he�d be looking for, even if she is a bitch. I�m attractive enough, but I come with a whole slew of problems I barely want to deal with, let alone inflicting them on someone else. Then again, Blitz will kill me if I don�t go tell Maxis something. So I guess I�ll have to give this a shot somehow. But I�m not getting my hopes up. I�ll just set the record straight and see what happens.
