| To assist our community to pull together to deal with its invasive plant problems, the Forestry Action Committee focuses on those listed invasive species that everyone in our community pretty much agrees are invasive and a problem. We focus on nonchemical methods of control because the use of herbicides is a highly divisive issue in this community. By developing effective efficient nonchemical means of control we empower our community to regain control of their land by methods they are willing to use. And we give jobs to people in our community. |
