| Michael Bridgewater- guitar + vox. I now play music by myself. www.myspace.com/shorttermeffectmusic Daniel Peake- bass. When I first started learning bass Mike was a big help and still is. Now I just play and learn. I'm always learning new techniques and rythms. Our first gig was just a good laugh and we nearly didn't do it because we wanted to play live and the guy incharge wanted us to mime and we refused to because miming is for puffs. At the minute we are writing new material and experimenting with techniques and rythms and having a good time along the way. Like Mike I really want to go far with The Abyss because we enjoy playing individually and together. I hope we can get a series of gigs orginised because we all love playing to a crowd. My biggest influences are Billy Sheehan and bands like Nirvana and ACDC. Michael Hughes- drums. My name is Michael and I play the drums. I've only being playing for 5 months and I've come quite far since then. I was the last to join the band and I thought of the bands nme "THE ABYSS" like Dan and Mike I want this band to go places because I like playing with Dan and Mike. My ambitions are to have loads of successful gigs and to play at Leeds and Ozzfest. |
