This course gives a basic introductory to the many uses of the Internet for those who have no or little experience.
Computing - PowerPoint and the Internet

This is module 2 of a 3 module course, providing an introduction to computing. This module is split into two sections, part one focuses on creating a presentation in PowerPoint. We will focus on inserting text, inserting pictures, formatting text, setting basic animation schemes and working with master slides
In part two the student will about the Internet. This will include using email, using search engines, downloading files (MP3 & Pictures), using online shopping facilities, security and possibly social networking sites.

This course is ideal for learners who have had previous experience with computers but want to further improve their IT skills.
Computing for Adults - Intro
