Halo had a very insignificant note on her right eye. She has distichiasis (extra eye lashes). In Halo's case however, she only has 1 extra eye lash on her upper right eyelid. Her left eye checked out to be completely normal. Distichiasis is of little concern, especially when it is so minimal as in Halo's case. Dr. Cullen also told me that they do not know at this time how distichiasis is passed on genetically. Though, I still would not breed two dogs with distichiasis together. |
