Not too many Links as of Yet (Other than the lineup below) but at least I included a loverly picture of Foxtail and Friends at the First annual London Music awards!! L to R - Shelly Rastin, Carole Allison, Kristin Sweetland, James Cummins and Foxtail - Gord Devries, Nora Galloway, Rick Thompson and Larry Johnston (hidden)... oh look... there're links afterall.

Home County folk festivals 30th Anniversary Lineup!!

Lynn Miles - Recent Juno winner for her incredible album "Unravel". Will be great to have her here!

Valdy - Always a favorite of Londoners, Valdy is a friend to every one he meets and is yet to meet.

Fred Eaglesmith - Bring your sharpest ears cause this man has some stories you do not want to miss!

Anne Lindsay Band - Anne is lovely, radiant and extremely talented. Check all your albums... she'll be on alot of them!

Heather Bishop - Heather hasn't been at Home County for FAR too long. This will be a real treat!

Tanglefoot - Last at Home County's 25 bash... these guys can really make your party for ya!

Jackie Washington - This will be Jackies 30th year as well. The only musician that can truly lay claim to that!

The Jitterbugs - I found an old link but it was just that. These guys can swing! Make sure you bring your dancing shoes.

Kristin Sweetland - Yes, London's favorite "Folkslayer" (ask her the story sometime) is back again!

Eric Uren - No links for Eric but at least I can say that this man is gifted with a golden voice!

Wortley Road - No link but a great band to see live, featuring the writing of Kevin White and Johann Kinting

Cindy Thompson - Sure she's a heck of a fiddler but wait till you see her dance!

Alfie Smith - Alfies first time at Home County but not in London. This man's Baritone voice will shake the ground.

David Essig - I remember a rainy day at the north stage with David and Colin Linden... we were about to pull the plug on the stage for safety reasons but these guys said "What's a little electric shock now and then?" and played like the dickens.. what a jam that was... I was happy I stayed to get soaked and witness this.

James Gordon - Funny, Touching, Topical, Timely, Truthful, Terrific!!!!

Penny Lang - The last time she was at Home County she had the audience on their feet for most of the show. I for one am glad to see her back and can't wait to see Allison's face when she finds out that Penny will be there.

Darlene - A long time friend of For The Folk - Darlene has performed in For The Folk sponsored venues as well as performed many times live to air for us. Still travelling the world, even more with her group "The Road Dog Divas", Darlene's love for music is so infectious I challenge you to try not to sing along. You won't be able to do it!

Mike Stevens and Raymond McLain - Check the Events page for a photo by Ian of these 2 in action in 2000. Two virtuosos with a resume that would make even the busiest of the Bluegrassers and Folkies jealous!

Rob Lamothe - A Hamilton singer-songwriter with tunes available for perusing at mp3.com

Vox Violin - A fabulous duo returning to Home County yet again.

Bob Snider - This man has some of the coolest tunes ever! Dogs, Radios, Flowers, he'll sing about anything and everything.

Ian Robb - A member of "Finest Kind", Ian is no stranger to Home County either.

Cartwheels - seeking info!

Mark Haines and Tom Leighton - It's always a party when these guys are around! Two great albums under their belts and these guys seem to pop up on everyone elses records too!

Tom Lewis - Tom did an I.D. for for the folk once that went "You may be far from the sea but you are always close to C H R W". A clever musician with a huge voice and a great smile. Quite a storyteller also.

Don McGeoch - Founder of the Brantford Folk Club, Don will take you right back home to Scotland with him... through the music anyway <wink>

Venues/Promoters etc.

Hugh's Room - Still a young venue, it has proven itself as one of the top concert settings in the country dedicated to the Roots music/ singer-songwriter scene.

IDEA - Ian Davies Entertainment Agency - Ian works with The Cuckoos Nest Folk Club as well as Folk at the Wolf and Folk at the Aeolian. If I listed the greats he has presented to Londoners I would have to give him his own page... so why don't I just link to his own Page! Duh! <wink>

The Ugly Mug - it's not their own page but at least it's got the address! This is a Coffee-House style venue that people are heralding as the potential next "Smales Pace". Some great people Like Bill Garrett & Sue Lothrop, Sirens and our own Allison Brown have already performed there.
