The Illustration has been carefully selected and conceived by the author himself. The only comment that has been printed on the book is of Johan Klitkou, (full version of comment follows..). I met him on ICQ and since then we have been active critics of each others work. His maiden album 'but lost we are' have done quite marvelously and you can read the album reviews on his website, (open in a new window).

Obviously this is a great comment from a great man and I thank him whole heartedly for that. His favorite poem from my collection is 'Last Card.' You also read this poem and post your comment in my guestbook.

As by now, all would have known that, 'The Ache Of Being' is a collection of poems written by Farhan Noor.

The Book is divided into four sections, namely :

  Part 1 : ALLAH
  ... I Am Alpha And Omega.

  Part 2 : DEATH
  ... another expression of interest in life.

  Part 3 : HARDLY EVER!
  ... but now I know it.

          and lastly...

  Part 4 : BLADE ON THE FEATHER
  ... more frightened than hurt.
