Kristin Dutwiler, (1995-1998) is 12th all-time on the discus top ten list (122' 9). Kristin was the South Coast League Champion in the discus her freshman year in 1995 on the frosh-soph level. As a junior, on Varsity, Kristin won the SCL Championship in the discus in 1997. Milaya Paggett, (1996-1998) Milaya moved away before her senior season, but she left her mark. As a Junior, Milaya threw the shot put 37' 9 which is the 12th best throw in school history. Milaya also threw 120' 5 in the discus that year. Milaya also qualified for the CIF southern section prelims in the shot put during her sophomore season. Tania Rich, (1997-2000) has the 10th best throw in school history in the shot put (38' 8 1/2). In the discus, her mark of 117' 9 is the 17th best throw in school history. As a senior, Tania placed 6th at the Orange County Championships in the shot put. She placed 3rd at South Coast League Finals in the shot put, and finished 4th at the SCL finals in the discus. Tania qualified for CIF Southern Section Division I prelims in both the shot put and the discus. She qualified for CIF SS Div I finals in the shot put, placing 7th. As a sophomore in 1998, Tania was League champion on the frosh-soph level in both the shot put and the discus. Tania is third in school history in the bench press (160lbs), Squat (275lbs), Clean & Jerk (155lbs), and the Snatch (105). Tania threw the shot put, discus and hammer at Point Loma University in San Diego Ca. Amanda Fleskoski, (1999-2000) is a four-time South Coast League Champion in the shot put and the discus. Amanda only threw the SP & Discus her junior & senior years. As a freshman Amanda competed in the 300H, TJ, and 800 meters. As a sophomore Amanda only ran the 800 meters. As a junior, Amanda won the SP with a mark of 38' 2 1/2, and won the discus at SCL finals... qualified for CIF Southern Section Division I prelims in both the shot put & the discus. As a senior, Amanda was CO-MVP of the Mision Viejo Girls' track team as she won league titles in the shot put, discus and 300H... finished 2nd in the 100H... placed 5th at the Orange County Championships her senior year... qaulified for CIF SS Division I prelims in both hurdle races and both throwing events her senior year... qaulified for CIF SS Division I Finals in the shot put & discus... placed 5th in the shot put at CIF Finals. Her career best in the shot put is 40' 5 which is the 5th best throw in school history...PR in discus is 118' 0... which is the 16th best throw in school history. Amanda's hurdle times were 3rd & 5th respectively in school history, 100H: 15.06 and 300H: 45.93. Amanda was also very stong in the weight room. She is 4th in school history in the Clean & Jerk (140lbs). Her best in the squat 225lbs, bench press 140, and snatch 95lbs, rank among the best in school history as well. Amanda competed in the heptathalon at the University of Missouri. Kristy Dominguez, (1999-2001)... 7th in school history in the discus...(128' 8 1/2) and 8th in the shot put... (39' 8 3/4)... placed 2nd at Irvine Invitational in both the shot & discus her senior year... placed 3rd in the shot put at Orange County Championships her senior year... qualified for CIF SS prelims in both the shot put and discus her senior year... qaulified for CIF Finals and placed 6th in the shot put. As a sophomore, Kristy was the South Coast League Champion in the discus. Kristy threw both the shot put & discus as well as the Javelin at Saddleback College. Samatha Grant, (1999-2002) Senior Captain, Sam has the 4th best throw, (132' 7) in school history in the discus. As a senior... qualified for CIF division I prelims in the discus... placed 3rd at the South Coast league Finals in the discus and 5th place in the shot put. Broke the varsity relay record in the discus (341' 2) with Cori Dayton & Priscilla Gardner. As a junior... placed 5th in the discus at the SCL Finals. As a sophomore... was the frosh-soph SCL champion in the discus and the shot put... is in the top ten in school history in the bench, squat, & Clean & Jerk... Threw for Concordia University in Irvine in 2003... was 1st team GSAC Conference as a freshman...broke the school record in the discus at Concordia (133' 9) which placed her 3rd at the GSAC Conference Finals. Priscilla Gardner (2002-2003) Vanessa Gardner (2002-2004) Whitney Johnson (2001-2004) Tara Ross (2003-2006) 2005 -- Earned the first Youth Elite All-American honor of her career with a third-place finish in the Javelin (137-2) ... At USATF National Junior Olympic Championships, placed 10th in the discus with a throw of (122-10) ... Was a California State Meet Finalist in the discus (9th place)...Won the CIF SS Division I discus title with a throw of (131-10) ... Placed second at The South Coast league Finals in the discus...At the Orange County Championships finsihed second in the discus (134' ) Was a pre-season 2nd team all-state (Ca) selection in the discus...
