| As a Sophomore: Tara broke the frosh-soph school records in both the shot put and discus. Tara palced 2nd in the discus and 3rd in the shot put at league finals, qualifying for CIF prelims in division I. Tara qualified for CIF division I finals in the discus with PR and sophomore school record (130-9) in the discus. She placed 5th at CIF Finals (126-1) Tara was also the F/S Orange County Champion in the Shot Put & Discus in 2004. |

| As a Junior: Earned the first Youth Elite All-American honor of her career with a third-place finish in the Javelin (137-2) ... At USATF National Junior Olympic Championships, placed 10th in the discus with a throw of (122-10) ... Was a California State Meet Finalist in the discus (9th place)...Won the CIF SS Division I discus title with a throw of (131-10) ... Placed second at The South Coast league Finals in the discus...At the Orange County Championships finsihed second in the discus (134' ) Was a pre-season 2nd team all-state (Ca) selection in the discus...
