Fullmoon wo Sagashite means
"Searching for the Full Moon".
It's about the life of Mitsuki-chan.
Kouyama Mitsuki is a 12 year old girl
who dreams to become a singer.
When she was young,
she has made a promise to her dear friend:
the next time they see each other,
she would become a singer,
and he an astronaut.
However,
Mitsuki suffers from cancer of the throat.
In order to save her life,
she must undergo an operation,
where her vocal cords will be removed.
And if she undergoes the operation,
she may never be able to talk again.
So how can she sing then?!
One day,
Mitsuki is confronted by 2 shinigamis,
named Takuto and Meroko.
Shinigamis means "Gods of Death".
Takuto has inform her that
she has only one year to live!
Shocked by this,
Mitsuki is even more determined
to become a singer before it is too late.
When Takuto heard this,
he want to help her fulfill her wish for a year,
and changes her into a 16 year healthy girl.
Mitsuki use Fullmoon as artistname,
and she works hard to reach her goal:
to be a singer...
the next time she'll see Eichi-kun again!
