Mitsuki, the lead character,
is a 12 year old girl,
who dreams of becoming a singer.
She also want to reunite with her lost love,
Eichi-kun.
Tragically, she suffers from throat cancer,
which threatens both dreams.
She is an excellent singer,
and is always willing to try new good things.
Mitsuki's love for eichi keeps her going as full moon.
Seiyuu: Myco

Full Moon
Full Moon is her "stage name";
Full Moon is 16 & making her debut as a singer.
Her first single was in the anime "Myself".
(In the manga it's called "Angel" though)
She is kinda naive about alot of things,
because in real life Mitsuki is still 12.

Kira Takuto
He is a shinigami,
assigned to Mitsuki with Meroko.
From the beginning,
he seems to be very attached to Mitsuki.
When she pleads for becoming a singer,
he uses some of his own blood to transform her,
into a sixteen year old [healthy] girl.
He is openly hostile,
if not jealous,
of the connection between Mitsuki and Eichi.
He is often impulsive in his declarations,
but when calm,
he is very rational and methodical.
Takuto also reveals that,
when he was a human, he was also a musician.
This cool shinigami can transform into a stuffed cat!
Seiyuu: Yasuo Saitou

Yui Meroko
Meroko is a shinigami,
assigned to Mitsuki with Takuto.
Meroko is very bold and brash,
but she plays by the rules.
She is openly jealous of any behavior of Takuto
that may indicate that he likes someone else.
When faced with a tough situation,
Meroko tends to panic.
She'll often use her pink Shinigami Handbook,
and then do something ill advised.
Meroko sports a great top hat with her bunny ears;
she transforms into a kawaii stuffed bunny.
Seiyuu: Honda Chieko

Sakurai Eichi
Eichi dreams of becoming a great astronomer.
3 years ago, he and Mitsuki met,
while they were both in the hospital.
At that time,
they both promised to follow their dreams:
his to become an astronomer,
and hers to become a singer.
Eichi himself you can see rarely in the story,
only through Mitsuki's memories.
Seiyuu: Ryouhei Kimura

Kouyama Fuzuki
Mitsuki's grandmother is a forbidding woman.
She is very old fashioned,
and disapproves of Mitsuki's father,
because he was a singer.
She has aparrently taken care of Mitsuki,
and seems to care deeply for her.
She opposes Mitsuki becoming a singer also,
because she fears that Mitsuki's health will suffer.
Seiyuu: Sugiyama Kazuko

Wakaouji Keiichi
Wakaouji is Mitsuki's doctor.
He cares very deeply for Mitsuki,
and often fills in as a father figure�
when she needs someone.
Sometimes,
he refuses to help in her more outrageous,
and dangerous schemes,
because he's his doctor either.
Wakaouji's "other" side is revealed early on:
he used to be a musician in a band when he was young.
(Ooshige san was a BIG fan)
And he used to be a friend of Mitsuki's father.
Seiyuu: Teruaki Ogawa

Ooshige Masami
Masami is Mitsuki's hard working manager.
She often has to work pretty hard;
she wants the debut of Full Moon
to be as successful as possible.
Filling the role of both manager and sister,
she guides Mitsuki through
the tough business of making music.

Wakamatsu Madoka
Her first appearance: the SEED records audition,
before Mitsuki becomes an idol candidate.
Though Madoka seems friendly at that time,
she tells Mitsuki that
the audition has been rigged for one person,
& that the auditioning is not worth the effort.
After Mitsuki becomes Full Moon,
Madoka shows more of her ruthless side at this point.
While Madoka believes
that Mitsuki is willing to pull strings to get ahead,
Madoka herself is willing to do just about anything
to realize her dreams as well.
She is a good rival for Mitsuki,
being talented and smart.
In later episodes/chapters,
she supported Full Moon alot in her hard times.
Madoka has a cute masquotte,
named Guu-chan (a pig).
Seiyuu: Kana

Rio Izumi
Izumi is another shinigami,
who appairs later in the story.
He's kinda mysterious�
He is also a pessimist (like Takuto said).
Before Meroko and Takuto were teamed up,
Izumi and Meroko were a team.
He guided her becoming a full-time shinigami;
Meroko had a BIG crush on him at that time.
After she became a shinigami,
Izumi broke the team with Meroko,
even if he loved her.
Now he has another partner, Jonathan.
Seiyuu: Megumi Ogata

Jonathan
Jonathan is a ghost-like shinigami�
He is also the current partner of Izumi.
He's very annoying;
he loves to annoying poor Izumi.
