Welcome
to my site on the implications of Internet-marketing for
FMCG manufacturers. This site is being compiled as part
of MARK404: Advanced Internet Marketing at Victoria University.
Whether
Internet-marketing has any use for FMCG manufacturers has
been a contested subject to date. Many research analysts
say it provides no value and companies are simply wasting
their time. However, the majority do in fact use the internet
to some extent, and others have stated that there are numerous
uses of Internet-marketing for these types of goods.
Over
the next ten weeks I will compile articles and pieces which
show both sides of the debate, and will attempt to introduce
and demonstrate the many ways in which the Internet can
be used to make a difference for these companies.
