The best movie I've seen in a long time. It had the usual cop chase murderer, cliffhanger scenario, but with many unexpected twists. Al Pacino and Robin Williams together is an awesome combination. Both actors feed off of each other's performance. It was especially a surprising treat to see Williams as a, very convincing, psychopathic killer.
This movie was a disappointment. Then again how can any movie live up to the expectations that the media presented it to be. The movie left me wanting more. There was not much depth to the characters. It was like here they are what you see is everything they are. With no background or introduction. I wanted to see more of William Dafoe's character. Two words, Schwartzenegger Reborn. This was like watching a Conan movie. The Rock picks up where Schwartzenegger left off at the end of the 80's. The special effects looked like they were done with cardboard and firecrackers. This series used to have life to it. One could sit down watch a couple of teenagers get hacked up in ingenous ways. First of all, Blade would have not been able to defeat the villain vampires in this sequel they were too unstoppable. The Return of our "Commando". Schwarzenegger comes back with a vengence. He is tough and unstoppable the way we remember him from the 80's. Although he shows his age and his sensitive side in this movie, the movie proves that Arnold is still not a push over. No matter how far fetched the plot is, what action movie isnt these days, it comes out quite entertaining and exciting because Arnold's back in action.
