Alex Wurz put the new McLaren MP4/18 to its first test in the 2003 season. Whilst a race appearance is still a while off the signs are encouraging for the team from Woking, with the first test described as a success. Test driver Alex Wurz made known the potential of the MP4/18 despite undertaking no serious testing sessions thus far. Meanwhile Kimi Raikonnen and David Coulthard have resumed testing the revised MP4/17D in preparation for the Monaco Grand Prix in one week's time.
