Rain showers are expected to fall on the A1 Ring during the race. The last wet race of the season was round 3 at Interlagos Brazil, the scene of one of the most exciting races of the Formula One season thus far. The weather forecast could come as good news to the lesser teams struggling to score points in season 2003. Whatever the weather forecast, both McLarens will be using last year's revised McLaren MP4/17D. It is likely that the weather conditions may reduce the horsepower and handling advantage the Ferrari GA-2003 has over the McLaren and provided the two McLaren drivers Kimi Raikonnen and David Coulthard can match Micheal Schumacher's wet weather prowess, Team McLaren can be more optimistic with regard to their outlook for the coming weekend. Friday the 16th of May: Partly cloudy conditions with a high of 18 and a low of 9 degrees. Saturday the 17th of May: Partly cloudy once again with a high of 21 and a low of 7. Sunday the 18th of May: Rain showers with a high of 19 and a low of 9 degrees. | |
