Another season has elapsed and it's yet another unsatisfactory year for the McLaren fans. It's been 4 years of bitter disappointment, particularly as Ferrari have been the victors. Few of us appreciate Ferrari here. They are the rich fat-cats, the manipulators, the hypocrites. When they cried foul over the Michelin tyre controversy, it reeked of sour grapes. The FIA is once again under the spotlight - accused of favouring the maranello outfit. Why 19 laps elapsed before Montoya was given a drive-through penalty at the US GP is still a mystery. Why stewards refused to throw the book at Schumacher for a similar incident to Montoya's at the British GP highlights the potential scenario that indeed there are two rule books in Formula 1. Hopefully, 2004 should provide an end to the hard-raw crap that has reeked in Formula 1 in the last four years.
