FLOWERS FROM THE HEART

Nostalgia - II

To Milton's memory -

Died on the 21th/12/1963.

My God, I feel and You well see that I suffer!
For so early to take me a dear son.
Give me force Lord, so I might,
Without laments, to support my suffering...

My God, I feel and You well know how much.
Because suddenly, You took a dear son.
In Your peace, I know well that he rests...
But, how much nostalgia brings me his memory!

I saw in his blue eyes, when a child:
Life, pleasure, happiness and sweet charm.
Never I thought that the Parchae, without mercy,
Would took them so early, to the eternity!

How much nostalgia covered his coffin!
However, sad they died of passion...
The ones that I bring in the recesses of my soul,
I believe, they will never again leave me.

It will stay on the earth yes, your memory,
The dear and good children that you left
They will follow the pathway you traced:
Of love, of affection and of hope!...
