TERMITES vs NTU HURRICANES
NTU, 3:00PM
This could be termed the rematch of the recent IIVP encounter between Nanyang Polytechnic and NTU, which ended in a 3-3 draw.  This will be an interesting and even match, with the result going either way.  Both sets of players would have plenty of match practice over the past 2 weeks of IIVP action, and so should be quite settled in.

MILLENNIA SKOOLS FLOORBALL vs TAMPINES EAST KNIGHTS
MI, 3:00PM
An interesting match-up between a team which is now rebuilding and one which has been together for a number of years.  MS Floorball has lost some of its key players, and not much is known about their strength this season.  Can they repeat their results last year when they won all their group matches to finish group champions?  This first match will give some idea.  The Knights have been training hard for this tournament and their preparations should put them in good stead for this opening match.

SWISS CLUB RED FLAMINGOES vs MILLENNIA SKOOLS INNEBANDY
MI, 5:00PM
It is time to see how the future of floorball in Singapore will fare.  MS Innebandy comprises mainly under-19 players, who may represent a fair bit of the future of Singapore floorball.  Swiss Club Red Flamingoes are an unknown quantity, as they comprise of players from the old Moose Hammers team and other new players from Swiss Club.  Expect some exciting passing play from the Innebandy team.  This could be a high-scoring match.
Flashback 2003:  Did not meet
MILLENNIA SKOOLS OSB vs MOOSEMEN
MI, 7:00PM
This should be a stroll in the park for Moosemen.  MS OSB has lost its most potent weapon, top scorer Muhd Shahmeer.  And they have lost it to Moosemen, their first opponents in this year's League - a fixture of ironic proportions.  MS OSB has also been weakened by the loss of other key players.  These two teams also met in the opening fixture last season when Moosemen prevailed by a close score of 5-4.  This year's match could also be a high scoring affair, but don't expect it to be a close score.
Flashback 2003:  Outram Sky Blue 4 Moosemen 5
TEAM TAZS AROWANA vs NUS NEMESIS
NUS, 3:00PM
The match of the week.  This is a repeat clash of the 3rd & 4th placing encounter last season, which Taz came from 2-4 down with a little more than 8 minutes left to eventually triumph by 5-4.  A really interesting clash to start off the season.  It should be another close encounter this year, with perhaps NUS Nemesis holding the edge as it has had plenty of match practice lately with the ongoing IIVP, while Taz has a tradition of slow starts early on in the season.  NUS Nemesis should edge this match.
Flashback 2003:  Tazsilian Arowana 5 NUS Nemesis 4
NUS SAINTS vs NHAC TRE NO.1
NUS, 5:00PM
Defending champions Nhac Tre No.1 should be able to repeat their emphatic victory of 11-2 against NUS Saints last season.  Nhac Tre No.1 look too strong for NUS Saints.  Look out for Niclas Erlandsson and Kristian Olsson.  If they are both available for the match, expect a goal feast.
Flashback 2003:  NUS Saints 2  Nhac Tre No.1  11
