The character of Macbeth, contributed greatly to the blood/violence theme in many different ways. The first way in which he contributes to this theme is by the actual killing of king Duncan. Macbeth also orders the murderers to kill Banquo and his son Fleance, as well as the slaying of Macduff's family. At the end of the play, Macbeth seems to like killing young Seyward.
Act 3, Scene 4
