| Internet explorer:- this is what most of us use to browse the internet, and sometimes we get pages that comes up cannot display page and instructions about what we can do to try and get it to display. the 1st thing to do is refresh page if this does not work try to empty temp internet files (cache), next to try internet explorer repair to do this you have to go to start then, programmes, accessories,system tools,then system information , once you click on this a window will popup similar to this one only a smaller version, click on tools on the drop down menu at the top you should see internet explorer repair tool,click on this, another popup will appear with add component, repair Internet explorer, repair the previous windows configuration. repair Internet explorer is the one that has to be marked, click O.K after it has been repaired your computer will need to be restarted. | Now a lot of members have been asking me about scanning and sending photo's as attachments so the next section I will be dealing with that. Scanning photo's: 1)always do a preview scan 1st then you can see what you want to scan there should be little broken lines around the outer edge of the whole frame , if you place your mouse on one of the lines and drag it, it should move to where you want it to go, do this with all four sides. Once you are satisfied this is what you want to scan go ahead and scan. 2) when it pops up into your programme you have options as to what you would like to save it as, save it as a jpg and not as bmp as jpg is a much smaller file and therefore quicker to send as an attachment, always save it to file, don't try to scan and send it more often than not does not work. |
