Dan finally completed his newest page...Dan's Music Page, which includes a resume and the full Jets/Jet Fighters Discography.  We got our Jeep worked on today with our second free oil change.
Other than that, just your regular Monday.

March 2, 2004
Dan added 2 more stories to the Stories about Rich area, so please read them and comment on my work at the Web Forum.  After work, daycare, and school, we visited the Merritt Square Mall to see Coral's art work and to have dinner at Piccadilly's.  Coral's picture is an eclectic, dark piece that will be considered a modern classic (to read about the Art Exhibit visit the NEWS).

March 3, 2004
Coral had Brownies today, so the schedules were a little shifted.  Dan and Amy, after constant searching, finally booked their flights back to Pittsburgh today...Amy will be in town April 15th - 18th for Marie's Shower and Dan will be there the following week April 21st - 25th to play in Rich's Tribute Show (tickets go on sale March 15th).  Speaking of travel, we got our first visitors since our October guests today, Amy's parents are staying at Cocoa Beach for a week (a few days to late to keep the February-streak alive).

March 4, 2004
Get Well Soon, Pap!  Dan's Dad went in for some surgery today and is doing good, but he has got to get better by the 9th when Judy goes in to get her shoulder operated on and take care of her.  Today was a gorgeous day in Florida!  It was also gymnastics day and Coral joined
Jordan because there was no T-Ball this week.

March 5, 2004
Not much to talk about in the real world, here's what's going on in our cyber world...Dan added another Rich Story and there is also some NEWS about the Rich Rust Tribute Show.

March 6, 2004
Happy 2nd Birthday to Ian!!!
The morning was spent preparing for the small party we had to celebrate Ian's big 2-year anniversary of his early birth.  The kids even got in the pool for the first time this year and did a little swimming.  After the guests left, Dan and Amy got a well-deserved date night...woo hoo!  Denis and Christine Byrd were in town visiting Denis's Dad, who lives in Cocoa Beach, so we met up with them
and took them to a local favorite, Grills!

March 7, 2004
After church and CCD, we did some cleaning and some resting and not much else.

March 8, 2004
Back to the Monday grind.

March 9, 2004
Today would have been Rich Rust's 33rd Birthday...Happy Birthday Richy!  For a present, Dan posted the story about his wedding trip.  In other news from Pittsburgh, Judy is doing good after her shoulder surgery and now it is time to rest and take drugs.  Ian had his 2-year check-up and got a clean bill of health.  He is now 35" tall and weighs in at 26 lbs.  Coral had a T-ball game later and the team did great...
we actually got 2 outs in one inning.

March 10, 2004
After work, school and daycare, we got some shots of Coral with her artwork at the mall.  Other than that trip, not much else to report.

March 11, 2004
Another T-ball game for Dan and Coral, but the big NEWS of the day was Coral's marks for this 9-week period on her report card...all Outstandings, except for one.

March 12, 2004
In preparation of a busy weekend, we relaxed tonight after work, daycare, and Coral's last day of school for this quarter.  Dan added yet another story about Rich.  As a side note, if anyone out there is reading these stories and enjoying them, please leave Dan some feedback so that he knows that they are not being done in vein...click HERE to leave feedback under "Rich Rust".

March 13, 2004
Amy and Coral spent the entire day at a camp site in the Orlando Area with Coral's Brownie Troop.  They had fun playing games and activities with other Troops and had things to do for the girls all day long.  They left at about 7 AM and didn't get back until 6:30 PM.

March 14, 2004
After Church and CCD, Dan had his turn with the kids. Dan, Jordan, and Coral joined the Shaffers at the TICO Airshow.  The show was cool...they had old biplanes and new jets flying around doing acrobatics and some general noisy tricks.  Ian wasn't feeling up to the challenge and Amy was too tired from her challenge yesterday, so they stayed at home.

March 15, 2004
We got back to the grind today.

March 16, 2004
About half way through the day, Ian got a fever and started rubbing his belly, so Dan came to his rescue and took him home for some rest.  Coral's game was cancelled due to the rain,
so the rest of the evening was spent on getting every home.

March 17, 2004
Happy St. Patty's Day!!!
Ian and Dan had to stay home while Coral, Jordan and Amy went out into the world.  Ian has to have 24-hours after a fever, but he was feeling much better and had fun playing hooky with Dan.
While Ian slept, Dan took the time to wash the Jeep.

March 18, 2004
The weather has been beautiful lately with the smell of orange blossoms saturating the air and making it a pleasure to open all the windows.  Now that I am done rubbing our weather into the faces of all our northerner friends and family, Ian is doing fine and got back to school/daycare and
Coral with the rest of the Dolphins got back on the field.

March 19, 2004
In what seems to be a Friday tradition, Dan posted another Story about Rich.  Amy took a turn riding Coral and Jordan to gymnastics today.

March 20, 2004
Not much going on this weekend, just some work around the house.

March 21, 2004
Church and CCD/Publix for Amy and Coral this morning.  The rest of the day was dedicated to getting the outside ready for the Florida Remberts to enjoy.  The pool was cleaned, the car was washed, and the trees and weeds were sprayed.  Later, Dan and Amy watched the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions.  (On a personal note, I (Dan) have found myself getting more interested in music both playing and watching/listening since Rich's passing.  Thanks to Rich for making me realize how
much I miss that big part of my life!)

March 22, 2004
Tickets for Rich's Tribute show went on sale today at this link HERE!  There is also a website for the Rich Rust Tribute Show and a new website for the Jet Fighters!

March 23, 2004
Coral and Dan had a game this evening and was joined by the rest of the family.  Not too much new stuff is going on in the world of the Florida Remberts.

March 24, 2004
For all those fans out there of ISE, you can now get the true story of what happened and not Tim Marshall's version (soon to be seen on VH1's Behind the Music Special).  Just click on the link and read up.  Coral had an early Brownie meeting, but not much else going on.

March 25, 2004
Dan spent the day at Wekiva Springs for a team meeting through work and they even fit in some canoeing after the cook-out lunch.  Later, Dan and Coral had a T-ball game (the last one for a week because of spring break), but Amy and the kids didn't make it to the game.

March 26, 2004
Coral and Jordan had gymnastics together today and this is the last little bit of activities for a week...the rest of the world (at least our world) goes on spring break next week,
so we also get a vacation from the activities.

March 27, 2004
Today was the "weekend work day"...we worked on the yard and the pool to get ready for all the springtime outdoor activities.  The kids did a little swimming before naptime.  While Jordan and Ian slept and Dan finished trimming the palm tree, Coral and Amy found two flower girl dresses for
the big wedding in June.

March 28, 2004
The Florida Remberts packed up the "carvan" and took a trip to the beach to visit the Shaffers at their timeshare in Ormand Beach.  It was a beautiful day and everyone was on their best behavior, so a great trip was had by all...just maybe a little too much sun.

March 29, 2004
The sun may have caught up to Dan and Amy because they both stayed home sick today.  Dan wasn't as bad as Amy in the morning, so he took the kids to daycare and the fun began.  On the way there, Dan got into a little fender-bender.  Everyone was fine...there was just a little dent in the Caravan and minor scrapes on the Navigator (of course, Dan can't hit a Yugo).

March 30, 2004
Everyone was back to work today, but not for the entire day...Dan had to take Coral for a dentist appointment.  She will have to have work done on them to help straighten them once her
6-year molars fully develop in about a year.

March 31, 2004
Amy went in to work early to get prepared for the BIG MOVE for RehabWorks (she will be located 2-floors right below Dan).  After work, Dan had a coaches' meeting for Merritt Island Lassie League...not much excitement there.  Dan also added another Rich Story.
