Lonely-Heart has not divulged all of the details of the last conversation she and Single-Parent shared. She has Evaded the topic with her Tribe, hoping not to Predispose them to Hate him, or have to Endure Endless Questions about him. She is still Praying and Hoping Against all Odds that their Budding Romance can be resumed.
Lonely-Heart has a friend at The Workplace named Feisty-Gal. She listens as Lonely-Heart relates the happenings of her weekend. Feisty-Gal cannot believe that Single-Parent wouldn�t Listen to Reason, and didn�t seem to be ready to Repair the Rift in the relationship. She admires the Gumption of Lonely-Heart to be willing to Confront him and to Seek a Resolution. After several war cries of, You Go Girl, Feisty-Gal begins to speak of the details of the Past Hurts that Lonely-Heart has endured. She tells Lonely-Heart that Single-Parent would think of the Welfare of his Child before he would commit to a relationship with anyone. Being the One-Parent of her only son, Music-Man, Feisty-Gal can relate to his dilemma. She reminds Lonely-Heart that Single-Parent seems to be nothing like The Jerk. The man who pretended interest in Lonely-Heart, flirting shamelessly, speaking lewd words, and suddenly Running Away because of his Responsibility to his young daughter Doll-Face. Calling to mind the Near Misses and the Dodging-of-the-Bullets that Lonely-Heart has faced, she tells her that Single-Parent just Needs Time. He will realize that he misses her and he will contact her soon. Knowing from experience with her own beau, Ball-Cap-Guy, Feisty-Gal advises Lonely-Heart to Be Patient.
Kayak-Girl, another of Lonely-Hearts Co-Workers, hears of the Emotional Turmoil, and offers to bring eggs to throw at a Printed Likeness of Single-Parent. She had faced a Similar Situation a few years past, and it really helped to Mend her Heart to Release her Aggressions. Lonely-Heart listens to the reasoning of her Co-Workers, but decides to Wait Quietly for Single-Parent to contact her again.
Lonely-Heart's Tribe members each have their own advice...
Weezer the Wise tries in vain to Stick Her Nose into the situation by IM�ing Single-Parent. Lonely-heart gets well and truly PO�d at her for meddling. Knowing that Weezer only had Her Best Interests at Heart, and was not up-to-date on the details, Lonely-Heart forgives her, and warns her never to do it again.
Lady of the Cane tells her daughter to forget about Single-Parent and Move On. She loves Lonely-Heart and wants her happiness and hates to see her hurting. If he doesn�t realize what a Treasure Lonely-Heart is, he doesn�t deserve her. The second piece of advice she gives her is to Loose Weight. Men are Shallow and they are attracted to Smaller Women.
Debaleb only warns her to be careful, as she has been cursed with Stranger Anxiety, and worries about Lonely-Heart ending up Dead in a Ditch somewhere, or Adult-Napped and sold on the White Slave Market.
