You will have two class
periods to work on this project in the school computer lab.
It
is suggested that on the first day, you go through the directions to this project
together. You should
complete the
research portion on the first day. Divide up the resources provided, gather
information, then share it with the rest of the group.
This will cut down on a lot of time.
On the second day, groups should be working on the action phase
and presentation. Groups should divide up
responsibilities (i.e. one person writes legislation, another the
letter, another creates the presentation piece, etc.) Use your time
wisely. One person cannot complete the entire project.
Everyone must work together cooperatively.
