By
doing this project, you have learned a lot about the Chesapeake Bay and
how it affects our lives. Don't just forget everything you
learned. Practice what your "Interest Group" preached
during your presentation. Recycle, conserve water, etc. It
will take effort from everyone to clean up the Chesapeake
Bay.
You also learned how important it is for people to be involved in their government. A democracy will only succeed when people are involved. Individuals can initiate change. They just need to be persistent. If you don't like the way something is, change it. Write your to your Senator or Representative or start a community support group. Just do something!
