main objective, the Tucunare (Peacock Bass). Especially,

The level of
water is the preponderant factor for the choice of the
fishing points. In that way, between August and
November the fishing of the Tucunare is more promising
in the rivers Uatumã, Madeira, Madeirinha, Jatapú and
theirs streams. From December, the fishing is more
profitable in Negro river and its region.

The waters of
the region rivers have no pollution and they can be
ingested, also allowing calm baths, without risks for
the health. |

The excessive
heat during the summer, from August to March, requests
the fisherman to take polarized glasses, caps,
sunscreen, light and repellent clothes.
