Having been interested in a wildlife film-making
career from a young age, I have recently come into
contact with a producer at BBC Bristol, who has
enouraged me to pursue this dream.
As such, I recently purchased a Sony miniDV
camcorder and Manfrotto tripod, and have made
a wildlife film, which required two soild weeks of
outdoor filming. This can be viewed on my YouTube
channel or on the homepage of this site.
I have subsequently been paid to create a video for
the launch event of the Year of Food and Farming
in the SW, which can also be viewed on my YouTube
channel (see video gallery link). This enabled me to
get to grips with event coverage and improve my
editing skills.
While I am still a relative beginner in terms of
filming, I believe I can bring a good value and
innovatively edited film of a professional quality
to you for internet promotion purposes.
I am actively seeking work experience in filming and
editing, so any offers of unpaid internships or
work experience would be extremely welcome.
Having used high-end SLR cameras since childhood,
I have a passion for taking exciting, unusual photos
of mundane events and objects. I believe that
this passion enables me to provide a great quality
photographic service for a good value price.
I have recently completed a year as the photo
editor of Bristol University's independent student
newspaper, Epigram, which has a circulation of
6000 fortnightly. This work challenged me to rethink
my photography, and create eye-catching images
worthy of front-page features.
I have experience of many different fields of
photography, from covering events to creating
concept images.
I only work with my Canon camera and lenses, and
use a high-end Manfrotto tripod to ensure that
my kit is both reliable and professional, allowing
me to take high quality photographs without the
risks associated with substandard equipment.
