First Contact is a game made up of 3 sides, being the Galactic Trade Federation (GTF), Freelance Citizens (Free), and the Government Forces (GF)
Each side has a specific settlement. The GTF and GF can't venture into there rival settlements because the guards at the entry points (a Non Player Character) will kill you, but can go to the Freelancer settlement. However, the Freelancers can go into either GTF or GF settlement. You will locate the GTF settlement "Dampier" towards the north of the island, the GF settlement "Sulfur Town" down south, and the Freelancers settlement on the west side about half way down.. |
