First Contact is a FREE MMORPG> The reason is that we use the game engine "CryEngine2" to create a series of maps that make up First Contact. Therefore the only way the game can generate an income is by donation. You decide how much you wish to donate, and when. All donations go towarde map development time, server equipment, and the main goal is to purchase a full, unrestricted license to use the "CryEngine2" to create a stand alone game. Even when this has happened, there will be "Free" player accounts, and subscription accounts, which would give access to more of what First Contact has to offer.
