| In 1999 the first game of First Contact was played. The game consisted of a few players around a table with nothing more than a few sheets of paper, pens, and role playing dice.
In 2008 it was decided to create an online multiplayer RPG version. First Contact will use a map created using the cry engine, so in order to play you would need the game "Crysis" First Contact - First Map The first map is a re-creation of Garden Island, in Western Australia.
