H.V.F.D. Activities & Fundraisers
The Hawesville Vol. Fire Dept. hosts an annual Open House on Halloween. This event is for children and adults. We have approximately 500 people to attend each year. Everyone browses different booths to learn about fire prevention, meet Friendly Firefighter, and learn exit drills in the Child Safety House.
Other fundraisers that the fire department participates in are selling barbecue chickens. We usually do this twice a year.
