Cleveland State (3-3) vs.
IP-Ft. Wayne (0-3)

CSU Convocation Center Cleveland, Ohio, Friday, Nov. 18, 2002, 7:00 p.m.
Television: Fox Sports Ohio (Live)
Radio: WKNR 850-AM

First Meeting

Probable Starters CSU - G Jermaine Robinson (Jr., 6-1, Philadelphia, PA), G Walt Chavis (So., 5-11, Steelton, PA), G Modibo Niakate (Fr., 6-1, Paris, France), F Andre Williams (Sr., 6-5, Clayton, NJ), F Tahric Gosley (Sr., 6-8, Philadelphia, PA)
UMES - G Tee Trotter(Jr., 5-11, Las Cruces, NM), G Aaron Wellington(Fr., 5-11, Chicago, IL), G Ka'Reem Horton (Sr., 6-4, Roxbury, MA), F Didier Socka (Jr., 6-7, Crteil, France), F Javes Wiggins (Jr., 6-7, Baltimore, MD)
Guards

Prior to the game against New Mexico St., Trotter represented all of the Hawks offense. Wellington came alive, but look for Robinson and Chavis to repeat the defensive performance they put on against Akron's backcourt

Advantage - Cleveland State
Forwards There really is no contest here. Gosley and Williams were pivotal against Akron, and the Hawks really have no answer for them. The Viking front will dominate the boards this time around.
Advantage - Cleveland State
Center With both teams sporting a three guard set, the centers will, in all likelihood, be coming off the bench. No matter, though, as The French Rejection, Pape Badiane, will be the dominant figure, and don't be surprised if he has another career night on the boards.
Advantage - Cleveland State
Reserves The Vikings are playing with only 10 men on the bench, while IPFW uses an 11-man rotation. This shouldn't be a problem for CSU as two of the three men injured (Pete Ritzema and Amadou Koundoul) will, in all likelihood, be sitting at the end of the Viking bench along with Jerrod Calhoun, a guard in a lineup full of guards.
Advantage - Cleveland State
Coaches Thomas Trotter is coach of one of the worst teams in Division I hoops. Is there anything else to discuss?
Advantage - Cleveland State
Final Score CSU 85, IPFW 60 - Essentially, the Vikings are going to do to the Hawks what Michigan State will probably do to CSU on Sunday.
