THE PRESLEY FAMILY: 2001
Our family has changed alot since Y2K. At this point, Ciera is crawling all over the place, and she can say a few words like Da-Da, Uh-oh, and Thank You! Javon is getting tall and I can't wrestle with him anymore without getting tired! Chelesa was promoted to Site Coordinator of the Coahoma Families First Resource Center in August, 2000, and I was promoted to Quality Lab Supervisor of Delta Wire Corporation in August!
Of course, our newfound success has brought about a few problems, such as work-related stress, being more tired than usual, and not having time to spend with the children. In my case, I'm on call 24-7 now, and with Chelesa, she travels alot (she likes it though).
Even though our busy lives have gotten busier, we still find ways to show our love for each other, whether it be a small gift, or a phone call just to say I Love You, or a night out on the town with the children to unwind. Sometimes it's best to leave your beeper at home.
