A whole lot has happened before Ciera was born. In November 1999, I sold the $21,000 fully loaded Monte Carlo and bought a 1995 Pontiac Firebird for $8500 (strictly for myself), and on February 12, 2000, we bought our first family car, the 1999 4-door Oldsmobile Alero for $14,000 (only $1500 over for two cars). I got my first raise in management at Delta Wire Corporation. After Ciera was born, my wife got a job as an Administrative Assistant for Coahoma Parent Resource Center, a non-profit organization that educates parents of children ages 0 to 3 years in child development and neuroscience.
