Here's Our Bundle Of Joy!
After 22 long, painful hours of labor, our daughter, Ciera Jenee' Presley, was born at 8:28am on March 22, 2000 at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS. She weighed a whopping 8 pounds 12 ounces and she was 21 and 1/2 inches long. Our grandmother, Ms. Ella Mae Johnson, was also at her delivery. She helped both of us out alot during the labor. After Ciera was born, she was visited by Mama V. Presley, Daddy Presley, Papaw Ernest Jones, Bobbie Jones, Big Brother Jay, my god-sister Danetha and her newborn baby boy Tre', our cameraman Chico, church members, and my wife's more than helpful nurses, Martha and Aletha.
We took Ciera home two days later. The adjustment to a new baby in the house is a GREAT BIG one! There's no such animal as decent sleep. Ciera has taken to the family pretty well, and she has been spoiled rotten already (Thanks to Mama V)!
