The Presleys 2004

This year has been a very busy year for our family. Just trying to keep up with a one year old baby is busy enough! We also have our older two kids in various activities such as baseball, soccer, and even ballet. We've been blessed to be able to provide these activities for our children, and we've been blessed to have our families lend a helping hand in raising our children.

Even though this year has been busy, not too much has changed dealing with our family since last year. Here are a few things that have happened this year: We've been to two weddings: My college buddy Michael and Sharell were married on June 5, 2004 in Starkville, MS. My wife's cousin Kim and Sean were married on July 31, 2004 in Columbus, MS. My wife was a bridesmaid in Kim's wedding. Congratulations to both newlyweds!

This year my son Javon is attending St. George's Episcopal School with his sister Ciera, in the third grade. Javon has also been promoted to the Bear's den in Cub Scouts, and he played soccer (and plays well I must say; I think we've found his sport). My wife Chelesa is still working hard for the community as a Sunday School Teacher for her church and as the Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 4096. Ciera started her sports career this year playing T-ball. Right now, she's a "Daisy" in Girl Scouts and she's taking ballet, all at the tender age of four. Our baby Jensen, aka Terror Mayhem; aka Pac-Man, is walking, running, tearing up everything in his path, and eating up everything he can shove in his mouth. No joke. As for me, I'm still working at Delta Wire Corporation, and this year I finally went drag-racing in my 1996 Firebird Formula in Greenville, MS, and Memphis, TN. I am now a horsepower junkie.
