The Black Isle

Upon your arrival at the beach, you are attacked by the Samans. Ignore the small ones, just jump over them and run, but be sure to kill the large creatures. keep going up the path and across the bridge, all the while killing any opposition you face. Eventually you will reach a small fort built into the rocks. Go in and stomp on the glowing area on the floor, which will open a hole to a lower level. After descending, you will find a vertical column with symbols on it. Go up to it and press R. Return to the surface and clear the area of enemies.
Now here's the tricky part. Switch to your Secondary Weapon by pressing 2 and shoot the bridge with it until it collapses. Climb down the rubble, and proceed forward. Before reaching the beach, you will be inside a rocky alcove. Look for a small, hidden hole on the right side of the cave. go in and you will emerge on a previously unreachable ledge on top of the fort. When you reach the beach, shoot down the low wall and enter the second beach area. Find a hole in the cliff face and go in. Operate the Ancestral Pod with the R button and exit the room. At the end of the elevated path, press R in front of the switch to activate the floating platforms.
Enter the new area and prepare for a boss fight. Shoot the boss with either the Secondary Weapon or a charged shot from your normal weapon. Keep moving to evade his missiles and tackles. He should die after 9 or 10 hits.
