Listen to Censored
Radio!
The exhibition fair was a time where students got a first-hand look at what the seniors have done all year. My fair was about music censorship, and it was displayed toward the back of the room. Armed with a stereo blaring out hits from the 80s (that wonderful decade) and a TV blasting out controversial videos (courtesy of MTV), I was ready in presentation my exhibition. Students from all walks of life viewed my display board, gazing at the numerous pictures and the weird and wacky events in music censorship history. I was excited that so many people came up to mine and asked such wonderful questions. People seemed to interested in the cover art that was once banned. They were amazed at some of the art, wondering why some of them were even banned.
When our magical mystery tour reached the grade school, I was swarmed by young people, asking me many questions about their favorite artists and what they did that was so controversial.
