An evil power company called Shinra has found a way to drain life energy from the earth and using it to control the universe. An organization called Avalanche has vowed to protect the planet. The story revolves around Cloud teamed up with Avalanche to protect this atrocity from occuring and thus destroying the planet. Along the way they meet powerful and mysterious allies. Together they vowe to protect this universe against Shinra. The game does not decide it's own fate, but you, the gameplayer, do! This game has a good story to it.
