Hello? Kari said into the other line.
Kari? This is TK, The voice on the other line said.
Hi TK! Im so happy you can come, Kari exclaimed.
About that. Im gonna be a little late, TK said.
Thats ok. No matter how late you are, Im still glad youre coming, Kari said.
Ok then. Bye, TK said then hung up the phone. Kari did the same thing and went back to talking to her friends. When the party was over, TK still hadnt come. The only one left in the room was Kari and Tai. Suddenly the door opened. TK appeared just as Kari remembered him.
Hi TK, Kari said. Kari saw someone else with TK. A girl. Inside Karis heart broke but she didnt let it show.
Hi Kari. Sorry Im late. Oh! This is Caroline, TK said, introducing the blond girl.
Hi, Kari said to the girl. Tai looked at Kari, worriedly. Tai knew Kari liked TK and still do.
Excuse me, Kari said as she walked up to her room. Tai stared at his little sister. Then he turned to TK.
I think you should leave, Tai said, nastily to TK and Caroline. TK stepped back at the tone of Tais voice. Tai is really protective of his little sister. He knew her heart broke when she saw TK with Caroline. TK and Caroline left. Tai went to Karis room. Knock knock.
Kari? Can I come in? Tai asked Kari though her door.
Come in Tai, Kari said. Tai walked though the door. Kari was sitting on the bed. Shes not crying or doing anything at all.
Kari? Are you ok? Tai asked as he sat next to Kari.
Im fine Tai, Kari said.
I waited for him. I dont care anymore. Im gonna move on, Kari told Tai. Tai nodded and left Kari alone.

Im sorry. I dont think this can work out, TK said to Caroline.
I understand. You still love Kari dont you? Caroline asked.
How did you know? TK asked, amazed.
I could tell. The way you looked at her. Bye TK, Caroline left. TK watched her leave. Then he went back home.
Hi Matt, TK said, exhausted.
Hey TK, Matt said to TK, Are you ok?
Yea. Just tired, TK replied, I think Ill go to bed.
Ok. Bye, Matt said. TK walked up the stairs to his room. He fell asleep and dreamed of Kari.

TK decided to tell Kari how he feels about her but he is scared. It took him a few weeks to gather up his courage. TK walked over to Karis house. He started to get nervous. He knocked at the door and it opened. Davis opened the door.
Davis? Why are you here? TK asked the red-haired boy. Kari came beside him and gave Davis a kiss.
Hi TK, Kari said. TK was shocked that Kari liked Davis. Then his heart broke.
What brings you here? Kari asked her best friend.
Nothing, TK said as soon as he found his voice. He could feel tears close to falling. He left and as soon they were out of view, he broke out into a run. He felt tears falling down his face. He angrily wiped them away while still running. He ran all the way home. He sprinted past Matt and to his room.
TK? Are you ok? Matt asked, knocking on the door. Matt got a muffled reply.
Im fine Matt. Please leave me alone, TK voice came from the room. TK heard Matts footstep fade. TK was lying down but hes no longer crying. TK decided to go for a walk.

Davis, Im sorry, Kari said to Davis. This scene was like the one with TK. Kari had to break it off. She loves TK, not Davis. Kari looked at Davis. His eyes were shining with tears. Seeing him like, Kari felt really bad. She could see the hurt.
Its TK, isnt it? Davis whispered. Kari slowly nodded.
I thought so. Bye Kari, Davis said, walking away. Kari looked at the scene and it almost broke her heart. She turned away and walked to her house.

TK walked, deep in his own thoughts. As he walked, he didnt notice the car coming right at him. The car beeped and TK turned his head. He was too shocked to move. The driver tried to stop. The car came closer and

Kari walked home and on the way saw a car moving right at a boy. Her eyes widen as the car ran over the boy. Kari ran to the boy.
TK, Kari whispered, dropping on her knees next to him, No, no, this cant be.
Kari, TK said, I love you, TK managed to get out while his eyes are slowly closing. Kari took his hand and put it next to her face.
No TK. Youre gonna be fine. Well see each other again, Kari said, TK wake up! TK laughed and opened his eyes.
Ill never leave you. I promise, With that, TK slipped into unconsciousness.

Kari never TK side after he got into a coma. The only time she got up was to go to the bathroom or get something to eat. The nurses and doctor will always find her here. Tai would come to try to get his little sister to come home. But he would fail. One day Kari was clutching his hand and wishing he would get better. Suddenly he flat lined. Doctor and nurses came and tried to get Kari get Kari out of there so the doctor could do his work.
Let go me! Kari struggled but she became weak from staying by his side day after day. She was dragged out to the waiting room. She looked the window and saw doctors trying to bring him back to life. TK stayed motionless. Kari looked away. When she looked back she saw.
This a few days after TK died. Everyone is at TKs funeral. Everyone then left except the digidestined. Everyone left Kari alone to TK.
You broke your promise, Kari said, tears streaming down her face. Kari could swear she heard the wind whisper, Im sorry.
I love you too, Kari said, planting a kiss on TKs cold lips. Kari stood up and walked away with tears silently streaming down her face. She could feel the wind go around her just like TKs hands used to. Kari walked down the hill where Tai was waiting. She ran to Tai and hugged him. Tai squeezed back.
Are you ok? Tai asked Kari. Kari nodded. Together they went home. From now on, Kari visited TK every year. Sometimes she would bring Tai or Matt. Sometimes she would come alone. Every time she went to his grave, she could hear TKs voice in the wind and TKs touch as well. Its like hes still there. Kari would feel better when she comes to visit him. And she could tell he is happy as well.
