TK stayed by Kari�s side at the hospital.
�Kari, please be ok,� these were his last words before falling asleep. The next in the afternoon, TK took Kari�s cold hand and hoping she would get better. Suddenly Kari�s pulse got weaker and she flat lined. The doctors and nurse came and tried get TK away.
�Let me go!� TK growled and got out of their reach. He tried to get to Kari again but, there were to many of them. TK was dragged to the waiting room. TK watched through the window. The doctors were doing all they can to help Kari. She stayed motionless. TK felt a tear dropped. He felt so helpless. She was going through one of the toughest thing in life, the struggle to stay alive, and he can do nothing to help. He closed his eyes, angry with himself. When he opened them he saw�.
This a few days after Kari died. Everyone is at Kari�s funeral. Everyone left, leaving the digidestined. The digidestined gave TK some time alone with Kari. TK walked to Kari and knelt by her coffin.
�Kari, I�m sorry,� TK whisper to her.
�I�m sorry for this, for not being able to help you through this. I�m sorry for everything,� TK said to Kari, �I�m sorry for being upset when I saw you with Davis. That�s what caused this,� TK said, brushing a strand of hair away from Kari�s face, �And you know what? I love you too,� TK said, giving Kari a kiss on her cold lips. TK stood up and looked at her one last time.
�Goodbye Kari,� TK turned as the tears stream down his face. He wiped them away and headed toward Matt. As he walked away, he heard the wind say, �Goodbye�� TK walked over to Matt.
�Are you ok?� Matt asked TK. TK nodded.
�You know TK, It�s not your fault,� Matt said to his little brother, putting a hand on his shoulder
�How do you know?! You weren�t even there! You didn�t know how she pushed me out of the way and got ran over! How she risked her life for me!� TK shouted, pushing the hand away.
�Look TK, I know you�re angry but you didn�t have to take it out on me!� Matt said angrily.
�I�m sorry, Matt. It�s just Kari�s not here anymore and it�s my fault. Let�s just go home,� TK said, sighing. Matt and TK went home together. TK would visit Kari every year. When he�s there, he could hear Kari�s voice in the wind. TK doesn�t think of Kari as gone. He thinks that Kari was just waiting in another world. And you know what? TK�s right.
