�Matt, the last time I saw Kari was last night�. At the crossroad!� TK said. TK took Matt to the cross.
�This is a good place to place to start,� Matt said, �Let see� Mrs. Kamiya said that she never came home so� TK did you see her running down the this path?� Matt asked, pointing to the path that leads to the Kamiya household. TK nodded.
�But she never went home? Then�. She must�ve continued on the road! Let�s go,� Matt and TK ran down the road. They passed the Kamiya household, and some shops. They ended up in the park. They walked through the park but came up empty. They headed back to Tai�s house. Everyone else was there before them. When they came in, Tai stood up, hopefully. Matt sadly shook his head. The last few days were like that. After a week, almost everyone had given up hope. Only Tai and TK still hope for finding Kari. One day TK got the same dream again.
�Kari,� TK got up and dressed. He opened the door and stepped out in the cold night air. Kari is in a dark place so she didn�t run away. Se got kidnapped. Please guide me to Kari. I don�t know what I would do with out her. TK racked his brain for something abandoned and without electricity. A warehouse! Let�s try there! TK ran looking out for a warehouse that�s abandoned and have no electricity that�s nearby. Suddenly his head ached and everything else too. (A/N: I�m bad at this so just stick with me) Suddenly he flickered and then disappeared.
TK was walking along a beach
�The Dark Ocean�� TK whispered. TK wondered how he got there when he saw something shift in the dark, silent night. He turned his head, alert. He wished Patamon were with him. The only people who had come here was himself, Kari, Ken, and Yolie. Then a crow appeared. TK relaxed and looked around. There seemed like there was nothing there except him. He continued walking, aware of every shadow and every sigh of the wind. Suddenly he saw figure in the dark. The person was sitting against a tree, its head resting on its knee so that the face is hidden. TK walked toward the person, cautiously. When he reached the person, he realized that the person was a she. Her face was still hidden. He approached her, slowly. The girl slowly raised her head and�
Matt woke up and walked downstairs and saw that TK wasn�t there.
�That�s weird. TK usually wakes up earlier than me,� Matt said. He walked back upstairs to TK�s room.
�TK GONE!� Matt yelled. He rushed to his bedroom and dressed. Then he sprinted to Tai�s house.
�So now TK�s gone too,� Sora said, hugging Matt. All of the sudden, Matt ran out of the house and searched for his little brother. Tai followed Matt, hoping to find both TK and Kari. They looked everywhere. When it was night, still they didn�t stop. The teachers at school sympathized with Matt and Tai. They weren�t given homework and they let them run out of the classroom in search of their siblings. Tai and Matt missed their siblings badly and had nightmares about them. They would search even when it�s raining and would come home soaking wet.
�Where are you, Kari?� Tai said out loud to himself when he came home after he searched for her in rain.
�Hikari,� TK whispered when he saw that girl was Kari. Kari looked up at him. She got up and rushed to him. TK welcomed her with open arms.
�I was so scared,� Kari whispered in TK�s shirt, tears streaming down her face.
�Shhh� I�m here now. I�ll always be here,� TK said to Kari, rocking her and comforting her. I�ll never leave you. TK looked at the girl in his arm. She looked like she lost a few pound, but then so had him. She is trembling and crying.
�Kari?� TK asked softly. Kari looked up at him through tear-filled eyes. TK leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. When they parted, TK was blushing. Slowly Kari leaned in again and kissed him again.
�Kari? I�m sorry when I said no that time,� TK said, caressing her hair.
�That�s ok,� Kari said against his chest. They stayed like that for a while before TK said, �Kari, we have to find a way out of here,� TK said, staring into her eyes. Kari nodded. Together they walked, looking for a way to escape. The two heard movement in the trees. Suddenly a creature came out of the trees. It raised a hand and pointed it at TK. A fireball was headed for TK.
�No!� Kari yelled and jumped in front of TK.
�Kari! No!� TK yelled. Suddenly Kari started to glow a pink color. TK looked at himself and saw he glow a yellow color. The creature�s attack didn�t hurt them. Suddenly a pink and yellow light came from them and continued up to the sky.
�KARI!� Tai yelled and rushed to his little sister. Behind him, Tai heard Matt say the same thing to his brother.
�Are you okay? Where were you?� Tai asked.
�I�m fine Tai,� Kari said as she tried to get up. She failed and fell back down. Tai took hold of his sister and helped her up.
�Can we go home?� Kari asked her big brother. Tai nodded and started to walk home, holding onto Kari as he walked. All the digidestined were back at Tai�s house. Kari told them everything.
�Tai? Can I go to bed? I�m tired,� Kari asked. Tai nodded and helped her to her room.
�Good night,� Tai said, kissing Kari on the forehead.
�G�night,� Kari mumbled back, smiling now she�s finally home. Tai walked out, looked back and smiled, and closed the door.
�Morning Tai,� Kari asked cheerfully.
�Morning,� Tai replied before disappearing again. When he reappeared, he was wearing clean clothes and looking a little bit more awake. Tai sat down and Kari gave him his breakfast. Kari watched as Tai scarf down his breakfast. When he was done Kari asked if she could go out. Tai looked worried.
�Don�t worry, Tai. I won�t wander off by myself,� Kari promised. Tai smiled and said yes and to have fun.
�I will,� Kari said. She walked out the door, waving to her brother. Kari walked to TK�s house. She knocked on the door. A sleepy Matt opened the door.
�Good morning, Matt,� Kari asked cheerfully.
�Morning. TK�s in his room,� Matt mumbled to Kari as he walked slowly to the bathroom. Kari walked up the stairs and knocked on TK�s door.
