�Oh hi TK. Ready to go home?� Kari asked. TK nodded and the two walked to Kari�s home.
�Hi Tai,� the two said to Tai as soon as they were home. Kari�s house is like a second home for TK.
�Hey guys,� Tai said. Then he resumed to watching TV. TK sat down and watched TV with Tai. Kari picked up TK�s backpack, which was forgotten, and set it down near the door. Kari then went upstairs and put her backpack in her room. She picked up her clothes and went to the shower. When she was done, she went back down. She saw that they are still watching TV.
�Don�t you have some homework to do, young man?� a voice said behind Kari. She turned around and saw her mom.
�I�ll do it later mom, it�s the weekend,� Tai replied, �HEY! What about Kari?�
�What about her?� Mrs. Kamiya asked.
�She�s bound to have homework too,� Tai respond.
�Well, I trust Kari. She gets her homework done. You on the other hand, young man, had a lot of missing assignments,� Mrs. Kamiya said.
�Don�t worry I�ll get it done,� Tai promised. Kari tried to stifle her laughter. Tai always promise to do his homework but never kept it.
�Mom? Could I go out,� Kari asked her mom when her mom and Tai stopped arguing.
�Sure. Don�t stay out too late,� Mrs. Kamiya said.
�Right, come on TK. Bye Tai, mom,� Kari said as she and TK went out the door.
�Yeah bye Tai, Mrs. Kamiya,� TK said when he remembered his manners. As soon as Kari walked out the door, she burst into giggles. TK joined her.
�Tai will never keep his promise,� Kari said though giggles while TK nodded his head.
�Where are we going?� TK asked Kari.
�Hmm� How �bout a movie,� Kari asked.
�Sure,� TK said. They went to the movie theater. After they got snacks, they went to their seats. After the movie, it was getting a little late. They stars are coming out. TK took Kari to their school. (A/N: Remember they school? Where they spent a lot of time together stargazing when their brothers were at this school) Kari and TK made their way to the top of the bleachers.
�Wow,� Kari whispered when the saw the stars sparking brightly on this cloudless day. TK looked up and the sight that met his eyes was amazing. When they decided that it was time to go home, they walked to the cross that leads different ways. One of them lead to Kari�s house and another lead to TK�s.
�So TK do you wanna umm� wanna go out sometimes?� Kari asked.
�No,� TK blurted out.
�Oh ok, well bye,� Kari ran away from him.
�No wait!� TK yelled. Kari heard him yelling but continued running. She didn�t go home. She went to the park. She sat down on a park bench and let the tears fall. Suddenly a hand was over her mouth. Her eyes widen in shock and fear. She bit the person�s hand her mouth was free.
�Help! Please!� Kari shouted out to the night. The hand was over her mouth again. Kari yelled but it was muffled. She kicked and did all she could to escape. But she failed and was dragged away.
TK walked away from there and went home.
�Hey, lil� bro,� Seventeen-year-old Matt said to TK. Matt looks like an older version of TK. Then he saw his sad expression.
�Hey what�s wrong?� Matt said his brother, worried.
�Kari just asked me out and I said no,� TK recalled the event and looked even sadder.
�Why�d you say no? You have been waiting for this since forever,� Matt asked.
�I was nervous and I accidentally said no,� TK said.
�Why don�t you tell her that and if she doesn�t want it anymore, oh well at least you tried,� Matt said.
�I think I�ll just go to bed,� TK walked up the stairs to his room and drifted off to sleep. Mat stared worriedly at his little brother�s back as he ascended up the stairs. Then he followed his little brother and went to bed.
Tai? TK? Where are you? I�m scared you guys. Please help me. TK, where are you? PLEASE HELP ME! TK awoke, sweat on his brow.
�Kari?� TK whispered, wiping away his sweat. He dreamed that Kari was kidnapped and was locked up in a dark place. She was crying out to himself and Tai. He shook his head, erasing the thought from his head. It was just a bad dream. It was just a bad dream. TK walked down stairs and got a drink of water. He saw shaking so bad he drop the cup he saw holding and it broke into pieces. Matt came down the stairs, alert, when he heard the crash. His face relaxed a bit when he saw that it was TK.
�TK what are you doing out of bed?� Matt asked as he grabbed a broom and started clean up the mess, �Don�t touch the pieces. Let me,� TK walked over to the living room, which is right next to the kitchen, and sat down on the couch. Matt, who pushed a glass of water into his hand, soon joined him.
�Thanks Matt,� TK said, gulping down the cool water.
�Now why were you downstairs?� Matt asked. TK recalled the dream and told his brother about it.
�You dreamt that Kari was kidnapped? I�m sure it was a bad dream. Now go to sleep,� Matt said. TK wasn�t so sure that it was a dream. It felt so real and he had a bad feeling. But TK went upstairs to bed. His last word before falling asleep was �Hikari�.
TK awoke to the sound of the telephone ringing. He reached out a hand and answered the phone.
�H-H-Hello?� TK said, trying to stifle a yawn.
�TK?� a voice, who sounded worried, asked.
�TK, it�s Kari�s mom. Is Kari over there?� At these words TK was awake immediately.
�No, Mrs. Kamiya. Last time I saw her was last night. Didn�t she come home?� TK asked, confused.
�No, she didn�t. If you see any sign of her, please contact me,� Mrs. Kamiya said, worriedly.
�Don�t worry, I will,� TK replied and hung up the phone. TK got dressed and then rushed into Matt�s room.
�Matt! MATT! Wake up! Kari�s missing,� TK said, shaking his brother.
�Hm? What? What are you�Kari�s missing?!� Matt jumped out of his bed. TK nodded.
�We�ll go find her after stopping at Tai�s house,� Matt said. TK nodded again and left Matt�s room so he can change. Matt emerged fully dressed in a few minutes. Matt and TK ran to Tai�s house. Ding-dong.
�Oh hi Matt, TK,� Tai said to the two, �Come on in,� Tai stepped back to let them in. Matt and TK walked into the room. They immediately saw Mr. Kamiya talking on the phone, probably to the police.
�Mrs. Kamiya, Me and TK are going to try to find Kari,� Matt and TK said to Mrs. Kamiya.
�I have to go too,� Tai said, standing up. Mrs. Kamiya nodded.
�Be careful, okay?� Mrs. Kamiya said.
