SUMMARY:
In the world of computers, everything is connected. Corporations, government and military are able to access information from anywhere in the world, but there are also figures deep inside cyberspace that want to look where they don’t belong. Security systems are put in place to keep intruders out, but as technology advances, a chess match is constantly being played out.

FBI Counterintelligence agent Nick Reeve is thrown into a dangerous game when he tracks down Wallace Dunn, technological genius who works for a criminal organization that steals and sells worldwide intelligence information for profit. During the intense firefight, Dunn escapes and when examining Dunn’s files, Nick discovers that he was looking for a hacker named Jester that has flown under the radar for years. A myth has been circulating that Jester has designed the ultimate hacking tool called Cerberus and obviously, Dunn believes it to be true.

Nick is able to trap Jester AKA Alison “Ali” McCormack, but before she can be questioned, Dunn makes a daring move and captures Nick. He implants Nick with a chip that is connected to the city’s wireless network and if he loses the connection, the bomb inside will detonate. Now Nick must turn rogue to break Ali out of custody go on the hunt for Cerberus. Now he must keep one step ahead of Dunn, outrun his former colleagues, and most important : Stay connected.
